Today Lucien and Simon are taking their first steps in the water with a lifeguard from the Centre Aquatique 29°. For that, they went to the Club Mômes pool at the beach, just next to the Bain des Fleurs creperie. They were a bit scared at first but Olivier quickly reassured them! Armbands and goggles, they left for 30 minutes of lessons! While the children splash around safely, I take the opportunity to attend the zumba class at 11am.

It’s not just the grown-ups who go out in summer! Every Wednesday evening, the little ones meet up with their friends at 6:30 pm at the Théâtre de Verdure. The shows change every week with music, mime or magic.

This morning we test the mini-golf! Direction the municipal park for a big game in family. After having withdrawn our clubs near Emmanuelle, we train a little and we launch out on a course of 18 holes in the shade of trees. Lucien swings really well!

It was a great week! We take advantage of Sunday to make a small break on the beach with our nephews. Thanks to the elephant totem, everyone can easily meet for a contest of the most beautiful sand castle.

Damn, the sea is gone! Papi has an idea: what if we tried fishing on foot? A shrimp here, a crab there, but be careful with the size of the shellfish. We take our ruler given by the tourist office and we measure our catch. Too small, we release!

The activity of the day is a day at the Aquatic Center. Between the giant slides, the aquatic spaces and the ducks that splash out of the water, the children are like fish in water! At noon, I buy them delicious hot-dogs at the foodtruck that we enjoy sitting in the shade. The adults take advantage of the afternoon to bask in the sauna and test the hammam.

We were desperate to discover horse racing with Marc. And we are not disappointed! The horses launched at full speed are at the same time magnificent and impressive. At noon, it is cones of French fries for all the family in the snack of the racecourse. We lick our fingers and we try to see the kings of the track more closely.
