'Sorties de Plage' Festival Programme - Châtelaillon swings in summer!

Throughout the summer, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings, music fills the air at the Verdure Theatre in the Municipal Park. On Tuesdays at 9.30pm, there are music concerts for the whole family: sometimes funk, sometimes soul, sometimes rock and roll. On Wednesdays at 6.30 pm, there are children’s events: magic, shows (a touch crazy) or poetry. The kids will be amazed. And on Fridays at 9.30 pm, there is always a DJ dance evening for everyone to end the holiday week in style. And it’s all free!

Tuesday is Music Concert Night

Swing Girls, Pyramid, Cognac Blues Passion, Emmanuelle (the festival music programmer) always finds great bands for Tuesdays nights. From duos with soft voices to frenzied rockers to funk artists, these musical events are enjoyed by the inhabitants of Châtelaillon and La Rochelle as well. In fact, they have made it one of their main summer rendez-vous.

Rock, soul, funk or gypsy jazz, you will enjoy many musical pearls every Tuesday at the Verdure Theatre in the Municipal Park. A great atmosphere is guaranteed!

Wednesday is for Kids Only

Well not quite… On Wednesdays at 6.30 pm, all summer long, children and parents are invited to attend a show for young (at heart) audiences. Come and laugh at the clowns’ faces, be amused by pretty Bertha’s antics, dance to rhythmic songs, sing at the top of your voices, clap your hands and watch your kids marvel.

Expect your delighted kids to want to come back every Wednesday!

Friday is DJ Night

Weekends kick off on Friday night when the Municipal Park vibrates to the rhythm of electro music. At 9.30 pm the DJ takes dancers back to the 90’s! Later on in the evening, the dancefloor ignites into a festive and colourful carnival atmosphere.
