When leaving the water, the most greedy will certainly spot the colorful facade of the ice cream shop Ô Sorbet d’Amour, located near the casino of Chatelaillon. The owner of the place is none other than Renaud Gourdon, former professional rugby player and trainer, who went from the oval ball to ice cream scoops by opening his store facing the ocean. Since then, he has been delighting the inhabitants of Châtelaillon as well as visitors with his delicious sorbets and home-made ice creams.

In Chatelaillon, it is Benjamin who is behind the counter. But at Rugby as well as at Sorbet d’Amour, it’s teamwork that counts! We can always count on Benjamin to make us taste the novelties concocted in an artisanal way, in the premises of La Teste de Buch.

A few meters away, the Glacier des Dunes is also the ideal place for a tasty and refreshing moment! In this pretty house with a green front, taste the exceptional ice creams and sorbets of the recognized master ice cream maker “ERNEST Le Glacier”.

Roasted pistachio, Caramel, Lemon meringue, Gazelle horn, Blood orange-Bergamot, Apricot-Pavot-Nougatine or even Cannelés de Bordeaux, from the most traditional to the most original flavors, it’s hard to choose!

Real institution of Châtelaillon Plage, at the Bains des Fleurs, we meet for convivial moments since 1921! It is a few decades later, in 1975, that the establishment, which became the privileged meeting place of the bathers and the vacationers, will be transformed into one of the first creperies of Châtelaillon.

Proof that the fame of the pancakes of the Bains des Fleurs has crossed the times, even today, people rush to taste excellent pancakes facing the Atlantic Ocean. Salty or sweet, buckwheat or wheat, eating a pancake at the Bains des Fleurs is a must during a trip to Chatelaillon!

A small corner of Brittany is hidden between the beautiful villas of Châtelaillon! From the beach, going back to the center, go to the Ty Breizh pancake house to taste real Breton pancakes.
